Parallel 45 Enterprises is located in God's Country. Near the 45th Parallel, this beautifully set little Northern Michigan town of Traverse City has long been known as the Cherry Capital of the World. However, now it is fast becoming famous for it's rolling vineyards along the Old Mission Peninsula and the Leelanau Peninsula on Grand Traverse Bay, where some of the finest wines in the United States are now produced.
This wonderful area that we love so well is also the home of our snack food product that has been affectionately named:
"Uncle Gene's Backwoods Pretzels".
Our family owned company began in 2006 when two fun loving couples got together and decided to venture into the snackfood industry with an old recipe for a new locally made pretzel product.
Garlic Dill was our Signature product, and in November of 2006 the first package rolled off the filling machine with all four owners gleaming with delight at the sight of it.
Since that time we have added four flavors, offering them in two package sizes. We won't stop there...oh no! Product development is ongoing here at Parallel 45 Enterprises, we're always looking for that next product to compliment our current offerings.
